How PANGO works in support of Pango

PANGO offers a travel agent’s after-sales service
Some hotels promote their property by offering favourable rates to supply agents – typically to wholesale agents who in turn offer their rates to travel agents. It is via this ‘travel agent’ route that PANGO brings these hotels to you. As such, you receive the same assurance and service as would be obtained from a trusted, well-established travel agency.
Use PANGO as you would an online travel agent (OTA). Bookings are instantaneous and guaranteed, with a voucher to present to the reception desk and documentation detailing instructions in the unlikely event of an emergency.

A word about PANGO’s prices
We encourage you to always compare our prices against your preferred OTA’s prices. As well as contributing 10% of the booking to Pango, you can make some amazing savings for yourself.
If you have some understanding of the hotel industry, you will probably be aware of how cutthroat it can be. It is a fickle beast at the best of times! The different strategies employed by the different hotel departments often result in price structures that appear to have neither rhyme nor reason.
With a little searching, it will not be at all hard for you to find prices on the PANGO booking platform that are cheaper than the prices on the OTAs’ platforms. And often noticeably much cheaper – especially within the larger cities and popular tourist destinations.
However! Please do not assume that PANGO is always cheaper for all hotels, room types, meal options and for all dates. We advise a little bit of research to ensure you have identified the best deal before booking.
PANGO receives and displays multiple prices for the same room type from different supply agents. Simply click ‘BOOK NOW’ on the one showing the lowest price.
PANGO’s cancellation policy
Almost all bookings made on our site are refundable if notified within the prescribed time. PANGO’s refundable prices are comparable with the OTAs’ non-refundable prices. The cancellation policies for each hotel and room type are detailed on their booking page.
Please check the date by which you can cancel your booking without incurring penalties. The cancellation date is usually only a few days before check-in. If you do need to cancel your booking, email us via our Contact Page by the date indicated.
PANGO functions on low margins. PANGO returns 95% of the booking to you but keeps 5% to cover the banking charges and admin fees. The 5% acts to discourage ‘booking-cancelling-rebooking’ and protects PANGO against the related financial difficulties this would cause.
